Kisoro Water Access Initiative (KWAI) was formed to improve water access in Kisoro, a region in southern Uganda. Despite having a humid climate, Kisoro suffers from poor infrastructure leading to water scarcity. KWAI are looking into ways of distributing water harvesting solutions to the local population and would like to invite a team of Cambridge students to create a concept for a chatbot that makes this process more efficient. Depending on the success of the project, team members could also be involved in fundraising, project planning and implementation of the rainwater tanks.
All students are welcome to apply, but we are primarily looking for people with web and coding skills, and those with an interest in applying these skills in an international development context.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to express interest.
